DESCRIPTION:The presentation will start with a general introduction to the challenges faced by first wall materials with a focus on tritium retention and permeation. In a second part, the need for permeation and TDS experiments will be explained, and these experimental techniques will be further explicited. Finally, the remaining challenges (e.g. interfaces modelling) will be discussed.
